This program, which consists of a total of 8 sessions from the end of July to mid-August, provided free ice skating lessons at the 'Yi Sun-shin Ice Rink', supported by the Korea Skating Federation, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, and hosted by the Korea Sports Council. The training consisted of a program of various levels of difficulty, from basic activities to glide practice.
In particular, the Korea Skating Federation relieved the burden on the participants by providing training clothes, helmets, skates, snacks, etc., including the participation fee.
One female student who participated in the program was satisfied, saying, “I enjoyed being able to learn skating in a cool place during summer vacation, and I would like to participate again next time I have the chance.” In addition, one female student expressed her thoughts, saying, "It was my first time skating, but the teacher kindly taught me so I was able to enjoy it. I would like to continue participating in other programs at the center in the future."
A center official said, "We would like to thank the officials of the Korea Skating Federation for their efforts to provide various sports activities during the hot summer, and we will do our best to provide a variety of services to various families in the local community."
